The Dark Towers

by in 2014, Sculptings Size: 3′ x 4′ (91 x 121 cm)Medium: Watercolor, acrylic, ink, glitter on paper; wire, wood, paper structures, found materials

Monckeydom and The Dark Towers are on opposite sides of the same paper and as such they represent two opposing sides, the internal and the external struggles, respectively. These struggles build tension within themselves, but as the inner and outer turmoil come together the heightened tension needs a release, and the sculpture above the paintings is the channel for this process.

This artwork is part of the "Sculptings" portfolio.
